i am at home. 2 days MC coz of the little darling. =)
was so giddy this morning that i couldn't stand straight. after that i puked out my brunch. (yes dearie - i puked into the toilet bowl this time, so u don't have to clean up!)
i miss my kids but i just couldn't go today. really felt like ermm... ok, lousy... just felt real lousy... i was all dressed up ready to go, was about to put on my make up when i became a merlion... so... *humph*

i am such a pig!
was at staff retreat yesterday and everyone got to know the news coz 4 of us had to sit in a corner while the rest played the blindfold game under the hot sun! awww... *evil grin* not that i missed holding on to the sweaty blindfolds or anything like that...
i have to admit tho, it was the first time a retreat was really a retreat, out of school and the most impt thing was that we had FUN! 
anyway... i got to school at 6.50am and waited for the bus to bring us to PSA club... once i got on the bus and it started moving, i put on my "i think i am going to barf" face... it was terrible. the headache kicked in as well. many thanks to yiru for keeping me sane on the bus!
got to PSA club and darling yiru held my hand down the bus... haha... it was so hilarious... oh oh oh... we got some timetable changes... major changes in mine... humph!
okie, to cut to the chase, around 9am, colleagues said i went pale... hehehee... coz i was so hungry... they sent me staright down to the cafe to get some food... nothing much there... but i managed to get some curry puffs... here a little inventory of my intake yesterday...
- 3 curry puffs (9am)
- mee goreng and 1 more curry puff (9.30am)
- nasi briyani, veggies and fish (12.30pm)
- huge cup of tea with milk (3pm)
- fillet-o-fish meal (5pm)
- spaghetti bolagnaise (6.30pm)
- mango gelato (7.15pm)
so u decide.... have we eaten too much? dearie is shocked coz before i ordered the spaghetti, i just casually mentioned that i might not be able to finish it but hmmmm... i didn't even bother to offer him a bite when it came to the table... i just whacked the whole portion up! =)
i am hungry now, even as i type. ciao darlings... i have to eat!

dinner does not go down easy. i just had a few stalks of kai lan for dinner. plus 2 slices of bread. ok ok... dun nag at me now. food really couldn't go down. but i had a huge juicy steak (yes, i asked for "well-done", not my usual "medium: - that's how steak should be eaten!!) for lunch. so happy today coz dearie spent the day with me. =) ok - which meant that i got no work done at all.
i have to wake up at 5am tomo for staff retreat. all the way down at PSA building or club or whatever. humph.
got a shock of my life yesterday. my beloved mrs f. from NIE passed away. i really lurved her alot. she was the world's best teacher. well, u can say how i teach is a product of her advice and encouragement. i had wanted to bring baby to see her. but sigh. i really miss her. of coz i was adviced not to go to the wake in my condition. just thinking about it was painful enough.
i remember, being chased out of the tutorial room by her coz i didn't bring my notes. i remember her saying never end compos with "tired but happy"... i remember that smile from her heart when she came across a good reading material... i remember her stern but loving ways... the world's has lost one of it's best teachers.
just a shout out to those who knew her. say a little prayer for her now, yah? may she rest in peace.

Happy Daddy's Day to my dearie! =)
Ok anyway, i wore a Topshop dress today and everyone thought i was wearing a maternity dress. *humph* but anyway, the bump was obvious in the dress, so... =)
bro-in-law took us to eat dim sum today for father's day dim sum... the food looked yummy and under normal circumstances i would have whacked the food up... but... i was nibbling on the meat and eating lots of the veggies and porridge... (arh... bro, sorry, it's not that i dun like the food - blame yr nephew/niece... ahahhaha)
but i walloped the mango pudding... =)

i have finished the MCQ section of CA2. praise the Lord!! =) okie, only the open-ended and problem sums to go... and there's oprah at 6pm. i am so into oprah... 9am on starworld, then 1pm on starworld and now, (thank u channel 5) 6pm on channel 5! =)
ok, i admit, i am so distracted.
this day has been a day of improvisations.. heh heh... firstly, i really wanted hotcakes for breakfast... so i made french toasts with maple syrup (yum!) and for lunch i wanted spaghetti... but... i didn't want to step out of the house to get it... so i cheated... i made cheapo spaghetti (u know, the type that we find in food courts and school canteens?)... haha... anyway, now i'm kindda stuffed...
okie, i have get back to typing out the open-ended section of CA2... next week is the last week of the school hols... drat...

good day today. i woke up coz Mummy woke me up (with a phonecall) and i sat down to watch a little telly. had a healthy sandwich and drank my milk... feeling good today.
before i slept, i told the fella to let me sleep throughout the nite, and the fella did! such an obedient fella. =)
i have to get started on the setting of papers. i have 2 to set and i have not done a thing. hopefully i will finish everything by the end of this week.

i just forced myself to eat up 4 meatballs. i think i am developing a great hate for the taste of meat. then i ended off with nutella and bread and i am longing for more.
hmmm... fella's taking control of my life soon coz i absolutely hate sweet stuff. on normal days, i would eat my dessert and still finish off with something savoury.
yes - now everything is topsy turvy.
dearie says i must watch the sugar intake!

i toss and turn every night. it's been like this for the past few weeks. mainly it's coz of my backache.
ok ok... i'm gonna answer your many questions. firstly, there's one fella. well, basically coz we managed to only capture one heartbeat. and yes - doc says it's a strong healthy fella coz we managed to apture heartbeat at 5 weeks. the usual time to capture heartbeat is about 7 or 8 weeks onwards. this fella's heartbeat was flashing on the screen pretty strongly...
secondly, it's a big fella. i just read up that the usual size of a 8 week-er is 1.6cm. little fella here is 1.78cm at 5 weeks. i am in for a treat huh? =)

walking is becoming a chore. i've been having a constant backache for the past 3 weeks. the toilet has also become a favourite place of visit for me. but u know wat? it's all worth it. who cares about the backaches and frequent toilet visits...
imagine later on... when i have to climb 3 floors up to the classroom. hmmm....
grammar has to change. it's no longer me, myself and i. things have to change. it'll be us, ourselves, our, we...
we went to maxwell today and mum ordered "hei pia" - it was all deep fried and i almost barfed at the sight of it. =) u know, under usual circumstances, i would have gobbled up the sausages (esp with the pink sweet sauce - heaven!) but... *barf* not today...
oh gross - my windows are opened and the smell of "hei pia" has just floated in... GROSS!!!! oh yucks... oh yucks... oh yucks... i gtg... grosssssssss...........

ok i am going to sound so dumb now.
last nite, i was abt to wash my hands at the kitchen sink when i caught sight of a reddish-brown huge fat tail-less lizard in the sink! i jumped. freaked out and started yelling for hubby. i pretty much looked like a mad woman jumping in my nightie...
i hate lizards (and frogs)... yuckies!!!
anyway... now... hehe... i dun dare to go into the kitchen. and it's my domain... so how? someone tell me how? ok ok, lemme tell u why i am freakin out even more... my beloved hubby of mine squashed the damn lizard and threw it into the kitchen bin.
(1) dearie, u threw the creepy thing into the bin, how do i cook now knowing that the fella is in there? how do i throw litter? =(
(2) dearie, what makes u so sure that yr squeeze killed it? i mean, u are so kind-hearted to every living thing in this world... did u really kill it? =(
(3) dearie, i have this hossible feeling that that thing is still alive and lurking somewhere in our kitchen. and NO, i am not going to check it out... =(

isn't it a beautiful day? =)
i woke up and everything seemed just great... i'm in a good mood. =)
had our BK breakfast at Yishun and headed off to church... today's service was pretty long but it was worth it... God did speak and it was truly an exciting time...
had our fav indian food at yishun food court... had to line up so long for it... but when the food came... hey, the wait was well worth it and evry cent spent was also worth it!!! yummy yummy... if u are a fan of indian banana leaf rice... go eat this... it's good...
i believe it'll be a good week. tho i have to get started on setting papers (2 papers plus 2 lesson plans!!!)... i truly believe that it'll be a good week. i look forward to a certain good news coming thru... =)

i smell like burnt wood. i am serious.
i have just finished washing up coz i just came back from the p5 camp campfire. it has been a few long days this past week and i am really zonked.
wed was the first day of the camp and i had a 12.5 hour shift with them. started off in the morning with the normal attendance and admin stuff... then followed them around for games and camping galore activities... then there was the flying fox (!!!) i really wanted to do it but... erm... ok i will stop here... =) let me get this out first, i wasn't scared of the thing, in fact, it's one of my fav activities... but ermmm.... ok ok.... i'll shut up here.
i was seriously zonked by the end of yesterday. came home, washed up, put my head on the pillow and i was gone till the stupid reno from upstairs (i think) woke me up bright and early this morning!!!
i was busy carrying rubi's baby during the campfire. it saved me from all the activities... hehehe... he's already 6 months old! he is a sleepy fella... buthe wakes up at 10pm everyday... it's like clock work. true enough, he really woke up at 10pm just now! so cute. then he started crying and i had to hold him another way, and he stopped. oooooooooohhhhhhhhhh! so adorable. at least i haven't lost my touch with babies.. =)
spent the day playing m*****... hehe... but it was kindda boring without the kids... awww... anywayz, i got ready for the campfire and made my way down... i think the campfire thing is just OTT. they are bored with it already. times have changed. seriously. the kids nowadays dun look forward to it. they were more concerned with the computers at home.
we have all become computer hermits. it's so sad. =(
